12-hour power outage to hit 5 Pampanga towns on November 12th 2016

MEXICO, Pampanga – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled a power interruption this Saturday, November 12 in five municipalities which are under the coverage of the Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Pelco I).

The power outage is slated to start at 6 am and ends at 6 pm and shall affect the towns of Arayat, Candaba, Mexico, San Luis and Sta. Ana under the power supply distribution jurisdiction of PELCO I.

According to PELCO I, the power interruption is due to the request of the NGCP for the latter’s transfer and migration of its Feeder Relay Protection and other technical works.

Meanwhile, the said power firm is calling for its member-consumers for their understanding as the maintenance works that will be undertaken by the NGCP shall redound to the further improvement of the latter’s power supply reliability. (DPL)
