Được đăng bởi Man United on Thursday, October 13, 2016

Llang Llang street is a quiet street situated very close to the famous Clarkton Hotel in Angeles City, There are a number of Western style apartment blocks there with mainly couples and small families living there. Today a Foreigner (as they like to say) has been killed and shock horror his girlfriend has gone missing.

These incidents usually happen when there is a 3rd party close to the situation but who can tell until there has been a public announcement.

All I can advise to Western guys is to be very careful as Christmas is approaching and families need to buy presents and to appear wealthy usually beyond their means.

Duterte govt pushes Subic-Clark bullet train project

Được đăng bởi Man United

At Wednesday’s House Committee on Transportation hearing on the proposed Traffic Crisis Act, newly-appointed Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) chairman Martin Diño said President Duterte will raise his government’s transportation plan during his trade and investment mission to
China this month.

He said the construction of the bullet train will be under the Public-Private Partnership with a Chinese company, branding it as one of the legacy projects of President Duterte.

Quezon City Rep. Winston “Winnie” Castelo, one of the authors of the ‘emergency power’ bills, strongly urged Congress to fully scrutinise the projects to be implemented to ensure transparency and accountability in the government.

He said the Department of Transportation (DoTr) should not just be allowed to “to do away with bidding for big-ticket infrastructure projects but enable the agency to do the right things the right way.”

SHOCKING NEWS IN PAMPANGA: 3 Koreans Found dead in the Philippines

Được đăng bởi Man United

Philippine police said Thursday the bodies of three foreigners with gunshots to their heads have been found in a sugar cane field, and South Korea’s Foreign Ministry identified them as its nationals.

One man had his feet bound by packaging tape, the other man and the woman had marks of strangulation and the left wrist of the woman also had packaging tape, said police investigator Victor Eduardo. They were found by a farm worker Tuesday morning in a field in Bacolor town in northern Pampanga province.

South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said it was the fourth homicide case involving South Koreans in the Philippines this year in which six died. It said it will work with the Philippine police for a quick investigation, but provided no other details.

Eduardo said South Korea’s police attache in Manila is expected to meet with police in Bacolor on Thursday, and police too are asking the help of the Korean community in the province to establish the victims’ identities./rga
