Will DISCO's and KTV's be the NEXT TARGET for RAIDS in Angeles City, Ermita/Malate and Makati Areas ... And Subic too?

Được đăng bởi Man United on Tuesday, October 11, 2016

Bars have been victims of numerous RAIDS in recent years in Angeles City and across the Philippines as part of the GLOBAL WAR V's HUMAN TRAFFICKING but in the Philippines this has always been funded by donations from US agencies but we are now entering new diplomatic times with the President of the Philippines being very strong in asking foreign countries to not interfere with Filipino issues especially the war on drugs. These new times where the US are no longer the partner of choice and the future will see a lot less financial aid and infrastructural support and of course Military co-operation.

On the ground and in the bars the raids have always been focused towards the age of girls working in bars with checks on their dental records being used to find out the true age of girls possibly working with fake documentation. Bars have been challenged to find a solution to FAKE ID which can be sometimes very hard to work out without co-operation with government agencies but that does not happen therefore when a raid happens 1% of girls at anytime probably have a problem with ID making bar owners without knowledge vulnerable.

Now what about the clubs, the discos, the KTV's (which are essentially bars hidden behind closed doors) that seem to have different issues firstly the clubs and discos are not the employers of freelance girls attracting attention from customers almost everywhere in the country yes even the provinces, a karaoke bar in Mariveles Bataan still has bar girls attached to the bar available for 800 pesos for fun something that is aimed at Filipino factory workers, KTV's in AC and Manila especially Malate offer price for release but seem to fall under the radar as the Bars are much more visible.  So why are freelance venues like LA CAFE, HIGH SOCIETY, NOCTURNAL, SKYTRAX, R&B, AMAZONIA, ZZYZX or even VALKYRIE vulnerable?

They attract large numbers of visitors daily and if the WAR V's DRUGS is to be really actively fought against on the ground i would not be surprised to see these big clubs become victim to the same level of RAIDS that the bars have been victim to for many years.  I recommend all owners of nightclubs, discos and music venues to clean up your act and encourage people to party, enjoy alcohol and drug free vape but with Cigarettes already BANNED, drugs will be the next target and i expect Filipino and Foreign people to be checked and DOGS used during raids.

Fire Pit Bar Girls emerge in RIVAL bars on the back of RAID... Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines

Được đăng bởi Man United

Some girls released from Prison in Angeles City on the back of the recent raid in the bar have decided against returning to work in what was the busiest bar on the Perimeter, As a result of their fear of the bar potentially not opening for sometime or becoming a target for future raids some of the girls appeared for work at Lollipop on Walking Street and some others have simply re-located bars within the Fire-pit group and are now working in Eruptions, New Orange and Fire-pit Sports bar.

The owners have done a lot to help bar managers, bar girls and waitresses as much as possible to remain employed, I am told two managers had their shifts reduced at Fire Pit Sports and are now seeking new jobs elsewhere but with all these girls requiring a salary and Fire Pit management still looking to get paid for their hours work or lost shifts its really a tough time for Fire Pit.

What really stands out from this situation is who really wants to buy a bar in Angeles City and be subject to arranged situations, planted girls and faked ID's making every bar in town susceptible for a possible raid and financial demand for the case to be dropped by 3rd parties.

If the PRESIDENT wants to keep the bars open then they need to be regulated by one authority that is 100% transparent in its management, investigation results and legal enforcement so bars know exactly the protocol and their legal position, extortion is something that is hidden in society but for any foreign investment to legitimately exist and prosper something has to change, not every bar or bar owner has $2m pesos hidden away for the latest raid, for some people these bars are peoples pensions and means to live therefore procedure needs to be clear, form of ID and ID approval to work needs to be set with ONE agency the same one conducting raids and reviews.

For anyone looking to buy a bar, do not waste your time or money in Angeles the best investments remain in Hotels, Condo's and FOOD.. there are plenty of people with money to spend both Filipino and Foreign but with anything in S/E Asia - INVEST WITH CAUTION not with IMAGINATION.
