High Society Week in Review - Up to November 27th photos by Jen Pena (Angeles City Pampanga, Philippines)

Được đăng bởi Man United on Wednesday, November 30, 2016

High Society was once regarded as a must go, must see and party hard type of venue where the cream of the girls from Angeles and its surrounding areas such as Subic and Tarlac etc spent their weekends in addition to a guaranteed 100-150 freelance girls making it an easy pick up location for guys looking for a bit of company back in the hotel room.. now that was all good when the girls were attractive. In 2016 the club has experienced ownership changes, management changes and atmospheric changes too with the majority of visitors now experiencing more of a ghetto type atmosphere with guys wearing hockey shirts, hip hop clothes and more of a multicultural crowd than ever before with numbers of Europeans and Americans massively reduced but the number of Malaysian, Indian and Koreans skyrocketing dramatically.

Now management of High Society are not to blame as they are running a business to make money but there is an undertone in Angeles City of guys who "refuse to pay a bar fine" but will pay a freelancer a reduced fee and risk disease or theft of property in their hotel room or condo from girls who are working daily to live.

Many Koreans are looking forward to the opening of new club Monstar opening soon providing a K-POP vibe and if managed properly will make sensational revenues.

The need for a more high brow nightclub where customers come first is now more urgent than ever and the new complex being built by the ABC group could be the answer to many clubbers dreams.

Currently in November 2016 the best girls are in the bars not the clubs and for a little bit of extra money your health will not be in question.

Happy hunting....

BAR GIRLS AT WAR: Angeles City Bar Girl fight goes Viral from Walking Street to the World - The battle for customers in AC heats up

Được đăng bởi Man United

The following link is showing a viral video that has taken the Philippines by storm and has highlighted Angeles City in a bad way during a time where media spotlight has been pointing towards the war on drugs and the Presidents international negotiations with China, Russia and the US.

Angeles City has been doing fantastically well with bars busier in 2016 than they have been in the last 3 years due to a more International variety of visitors.

Bar girls do fight because they need money, they see each customer no matter of nationality as their opportunity to feed their children and families but some with more of a long term mindset see guys as a way out of poverty and a way into the good life that they think foreigners experience.

Guys visiting Angeles City very rarely are looking for relationships and marriage or children but get attached to certain girls and some get pregnant and a life of problems follow, the regular guy in Angeles City is focused on having sex with numerous girls and to party like they did in their teenage years.

Angeles City and walking street in particular can be a great nightspot enjoyed by thousands of people per week and this web-link highlights a requirement for good management in bars and good policing on the streets to prevent events like this becoming more and more regular.

ATM's at threat in Angeles City - Latest hotspot Jolibee Teodoro St, Balibago. European Card Smugglers active

Được đăng bởi Man United on Tuesday, November 29, 2016

Witnessed by many people including the guard at the entrance of Jolibee on Monday at 7pm there was something not quite right happening at the ATM's right next door to the entrance of this very popular Jolibee branch. There were two Eastern European men using a variety of International Credit Cards to get cash, when I say many I mean 30-50 cards being used during this particular visit to the ATM.

Interestingly the guard did not seem to think anything strange was happening and instead smiled and said hello to each and every person walking into the diner.

This is a simple bit of advice for people accessing money from ATM's please avoid outdoor ATM's instead use trusted spots such as Wild Orchid, ABC Hotel and ATM's inside shopping malls such as Marquee or SM (not outside)

Christmas is coming and it would be no suprise that machines are being tampered with and international scammers are making their move to extort money via Angeles and Philippine ATM's

BE CAUTIOUS AT ALL TIMES

HIV in Philippines now a ‘youth epidemic’ be careful and always wear a condom if in any doubt...

Được đăng bởi Man United

The National Youth Commission (NYC) expressed concern yesterday over the rising number of young Filipinos testing positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), which it described as a worsening “youth epidemic” in the country.

“The NYC is extremely alarmed by the unprecedented spike in HIV infection among our youth. HIV/AIDS is one of the most urgent concerns facing the Filipino youth today. Our young people are at risk and vulnerable,” chair Aiza Seguerra said.

“The HIV epidemic in our country has a new face and it is the face of a young person,” the NYC chief added.

Citing official statistics, the youth commission

said 62 percent of new HIV cases in the country this year was among young people between 15 and 24 years old.

“Out of the 29 Filipinos who get infected every day in the Philippines, more than half or 19 are 15 to 24 years old. Twenty-five out of the 29 are 15 to 30 years old,” said NYC commissioner Percival Cendaña.
The Department of Health (DOH) projects that more than 55,000 Filipinos will get infected with HIV this year.

According to Antoinette Evangelista, project officer at the DOH’s National AIDS/STI Prevention and Control Program, the agency’s Epidemiology Bureau made the projection based on diagnosed cases reported to the DOH and the trend of the disease in the country.

“The epidemic is affecting young people at an unprecedented rate,” Cendaña said. “HIV incidence in the country is increasing at a ‘fast and furious’ rate. Even more fast and furious is the rate of infection among our youth.”
Evangelista said the “fast and furious rate” of HIV infections in the country began in 2008.
Seguerra called for immediate and comprehensive interventions to address the epidemic, calling on different stakeholders to help in empowering the youth with the right information to prevent the spread of the virus.
“Unprotected sex is the main driver of the epidemic. We have to enable the youth to make responsible decisions, (ranging) from abstaining from sex to using a condom,” Seguerra said.

The NYC expressed support for a proposed legislation that would strengthen measures against HIV/AIDS in the country, including allowing minors to have themselves tested without parental consent.

“HIV is not a death sentence. Sexually active young people should get tested. The earlier they know their HIV status, the earlier they can seek care and treatment to improve quality of life,” Cendaña said.
But while they agree to allowing 15 to 17 year olds to avail themselves of HIV testing without parental support, the NYC still believes that those who test positive – especially the youth – should have the support that they can get from their family and friends.

“(But) if parental consent is a deterrent (for minors who wish to get tested), we must remove that,” he said.
He also underscored the need to remove the stigma against the disease, saying it was one of the reasons why the virus continued to spread as people were discouraged from getting tested due to fear of being discriminated against.

Sen. Risa Hontiveros filed Senate Bill 376, or the Philippine HIV and AIDS Policy Bill, to strengthen the country’s response to the spreading epidemic.

“We have to look for all of those infected… We encourage people to undergo testing,” Evangelista said during the launch of the “Connect for Life” program of the Philippine General Hospital, Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson and Sustained Health Initiatives of the Philippines (SHIP), a non-governmental organization.

Evangelista added those infected but are unaware of it might “unintentionally spread the infection through sexual contact and, in some cases, sharing of needles” among drug users.

Based on a surveillance report of the DOH, there were 3,112 new HIV/AIDS cases documented in July to October, bringing the total this year to 7,756.

The figure also raised to 38,114 the total number of cases since 1984.

Of the 3,112 cases, 333 are already full-blown AIDS when reported to the DOH. Eleven of the cases are less than 11 years old while 885 belong to the 15 to 24 age bracket and 1,637 are 25 to 34.

“The trend is increasing. In 2008, there was only one case per day. In 2010 there were four cases, nine cases in 2012 and 17 in 2014. This year, we have 26 HIV cases daily,” she said.

Evangelista added that since the country documented its first HIV case in 1984, cases were “quite stable – there was low and slow progression of the HIV epidemic” until 2008.

More young men being blackmailed over videos of sex acts, says NCA - Guardian UK

Được đăng bởi Man United

Young men and boys as young as 11 are being increasingly targeted by “sextortion” cybercrime rackets, the National Crime Agency has said. Four men have killed themselves in the past 12 months after being convinced to perform sexual acts on webcams by criminals using false identities, and then blackmailed.
The number of people reporting webcam blackmails has more than doubled from 385 in 2015 to 864 so far this year, and it is believed that the crime may be severely under-reported. There were nine reports of the offence in 2011.

The NCA and National Police Chiefs’ Council have launched a campaign to tackle the “really worrying emerging threat”, said the Metropolitan police assistant commissioner Martin Hewitt, the lead for kidnap and extortion, and adult sexual offences.

“The really key point is that as a result of this criminality, we have had four young men in the United Kingdom who have killed themselves because they saw no way out of a situation that they had got into,” he said. He added that police forces were being provided with more information to raise awareness of the crime and help them deal with victims.

Men between the ages of 21 and 30 are most likely to be targeted, but a “substantial proportion” are aged 11 to 20 and there have been victims as old as 82.

“Perhaps more important is a public awareness campaign to make not only potential victims, but all those around them – friends of potential victims, family members of potential victims – really aware of what is a very damaging and invidious crime,” Hewitt said.

The NCA has identified criminal gangs working from Morocco, Philippines and Ivory Coast, who target potential victims on websites such as Facebook, Skype or Linkedin, then persuade them to perform sexual acts that are recorded. The criminals then threaten to share the footage with family and friends unless the victim pays a bribe. In one case, the victim was told: “Your life is over, you may as well go and kill yourself.” The NCA’s advice to any potential victims is: “Do not panic, do not pay, do not communicate and preserve evidence.”

A 17-year-old boy from Northern Ireland killed himself last year after what his family described as a “relentless” campaign of online bullying by a gang. Ronan Hughes, from County Tyrone, was tricked into posting intimate photos online after receiving pictures of a girl. He was then blackmailed for £3,000 by the gang, who threatened to upload the images to his friends’ Facebook pages.
“This is being organised by well-equipped, often offshore organised crime groups that are facilitating this activity,” Hewitt said.
Last year, more than 40 arrests were made in Philippines and there is a continuing international prosecution connected to one of the deaths reported this year.
Roy Sinclair of the NCA said: “There is huge under-reporting of these kinds of offences, often because victims feel ashamed or embarrassed, but of course criminals are relying on that reaction in order to succeed.”
One male victim in his late teens said he had considered killing himself after being lured into exposing himself and showing his face on Skype. “I offered to go to the bank, but went to the police station instead. I was trembling throughout the whole thing, shaking and thinking, ‘What’s going to happen? This will ruin my life’, and did not know what to do,” he said.

“Since then, I’ve tried to put it to the back of my mind and I’ve moved on with my life. There is always life afterwards. But I would not be here today if I had not spoken to anyone.”

Another victim in his 60s said the scam had ruined his life. “Even now I have trouble going on the internet, and I can’t use Facebook any more. I wake up every morning and what is always in my head is that I don’t know if that video still exists or not,” he said.

Day Bar - Hole in one - Bar Review November 27th 2016 - Perimeter (near Clarkton Hotel) Angeles City Pampanga Philippines

Được đăng bởi Man United

When a new bar opens in Angeles City the biggest challenge is to impress customers and keep them visiting the bar and Day Bar is beginning to struggle, the waitress is extremely friendly, the bar inside is a beautiful looking facility almost looks like its been designed by Kandi but sad to say the bar is lacking in terms of the number of girls on stage, on Monday there were 4 dancing and another 4 sitting with customers.

The Korean owner has clearly a good vision of what the bar should be like, offering no food but also providing a limited drink menu but if you are a San Mig Light guy its a good place to go for what I feel could be the coldest beer on the perimeter.

I was very impressed with the bar and the waitress but the dancers leave the bar trailing more recognized bars on the perimeter such as Lipstick, Ice Bar or Det5 for example.

Good luck to Day Bar and lets hope they focus on advertising and recruitment to make their beautiful bar one that guys will visit regularly.

Kandi Towers Phase 3 (Under Construction - Reserve your World Class Condo Unit in Angeles City Today)

Được đăng bởi Man United

Have you ever seen a management team work so hard to develop not just top quality condos but a community of residents who revel in the environment created at Kandi Realty. Development after development and each time the standard rises dramatically leaving rival condo developers struggling to keep up.

Behind the scenes i was shocked to see the amount of effort made by Mark, Frazer and the management team to keep raising the bar not just aimed at future condo sales but also to keep current residents happy in developments such as Grosvenor and now Kandi Tower that has recently opened a new gym and a bar and heliport is just weeks away.

Kandi is the only foreign condo developer that has sold over 100 units in Angeles City and the new Kandi Towers 3 will push the number towards 200.

The prices remain competitive starting at 3 million pesos in what will be the most modern and well facilitated construction in town.

Don't just take our word for it, give Mark or Frazer a call and ask to view the plans and see the current showcase building Kandi Towers for an example of their work.

Fire Pit Bar Review Angeles City Philippines November 2016

Được đăng bởi Man United

Recovering from a raid is never easy and Fire Pit bar located on the perimeter next to Ice Bar and Babydolls has had a roller-coaster 2016, the bar previously owned by the group who own Eruptions, Fire Pit Sports and the comically named New Orange bar had built a great reputation for providing cheap cold beers and a great environment for customers with a decent line up of girls has suffered in a major way since the raid in September causing them to firstly close Fire Pit for around 6-7 weeks and secondly to loose all of their attractive dancers.
Now Fire Pit has re-opened under new management .... little has changed except for the loss of the automated billing system replaced by giant handwritten drink bills and the MAJOR change is the line up gone are any attractive girls due to fear of another raid ... instead the line up is more Green Bottle level if you know what i mean.. not very good.

The loyal customer base remains and hopefully the new management can keep the customers happy and focus on recruitment and standards.

Right now we rate Fire Pit as a 5/10 bar but with some new girls and focus on customers and not just the top table of mates chatting the bar has potential to rise back up to its previous glories.

Icarus 2 hits walking street in Angeles City Pampanga Philippines

Được đăng bởi Man United

Another week and another change in Walking Street with The New Color bar being neighbored by another 12-8pm bar named Icarus 2.. believe it or not there is an Icarus 1 on Teodoro Street just around the corner from the Cebuana money sending and receiving shop.

I personally had visited Icarus many times over the years and never been even slightly impressed, i ask many Koreans and they told me the original bar was a last chance saloon a place where guys would look if all the popular Korean bars had all their girls already taken out, so with that in mind perhaps the positioning next to Park Jun's highly successful bar the owners of Icarus could capitalize providing they can develop a strong line up.

Immigration to deport 1,318 overstaying Chinese in illegal online gambling, Clark (Angeles City) Philippines

Được đăng bởi Man United

The Bureau of Immigration is preparing to deport 1,318 Chinese nationals who were arrested at the Fontana Leisure Park in Clark, Pampanga last week.

This was after the agency found out that the foreigners violated immigration laws, including going beyond their authorized period of stay in the country and violating the conditions of their visas.

BI spokesperson Tonette Mangrobang confirmed that the foreigners apprehended last Thursday were engaging in an unlicensed online gaming business

“The 1,318 Chinese will be charged for overstaying, working in violation of the limitations and conditions of their visa, and engaging in an unlicensed online gaming business,” Mangrobang said.
This was based on the results of the BI’s Legal Division’s investigation to determine the immigration status of the illegal aliens.

Quoting BI Legal Division chief Arvin Cesar Santos, Mangrobang noted that some of the Chinese nationals were found to be overstaying, while others violated the conditions of their working visa.

Earlier, the BI said 99 of the foreigners were found to have overstayed in the country.

Mangrobang added that some of the arrested Chinese nationals entered the Philippines as tourists.
“It appears that they legally entered the country but failed to legalize their stay here. They entered as tourists,” the BI spokesperson said.

It was still unclear as to who owned the online gambling firm where the foreigners worked and how long it has been operating.

Thursday’s arrest was the single biggest arrest of suspected illegal aliens that the BI has made.
The BI carried out the operation at a facility at the Fontana Leisure Park based on a directive from the Department of Justice and a tip that there were Chinese nationals illegally working there.

Mangrobang said that as of Tuesday, they had no information yet if the Chinese nationals colluded with any BI personnel.

The agency’s Board of Commissioners is deliberating on issuing a summary deportation order against the overstaying and undocumented foreigners.

The rest of the Chinese nationals who were not overstaying aliens will undergo regular deportation proceedings, during which they will be allowed to present their defense.

Mangrobang said the Board of Commissioners would then deliberate on the defense presented by the China, and then decide on whether to deport the Chinese.  SFM
